    1. Ahmet. You are a nice person always with a stress free smiling face. Well. Indian culture and food are really scientifically designed. Firstly while cooking rice we used to discard the starchy water (pressure cookers are not our traditional kitchenware ). 2ndly we always eat rice with dal or legumes and ghee added. You know why? Now i also understand that dal / protein and ghee / fat delay rice / carb absorption reducing gi. Same way ghee over a roti / chapati / tortilla / loaf reduce their gi. There are lots of such facts in indian food. I wonder how our rushies and munies / saints could evolve such scientific diets without labs etc. Laddus / a traditional sweet from east to west and north to south of india made from wheat are first fried in ghee then they're crushed and lots of ghee added of course with sugar. It's junk for diabetics but the science behind is reducing gi. Hats off to our ancient saints / sages.

    2. Thank you. I was diagnosed type 2 about 18mths ago but I’ve been seeing so much conflicting and confusing information. After watching several of your videos now, i feel a lot more confident in the diet I need to follow. Breaking things down in different meal choices makes it much easier to understand. I cant wait to catch up on more and steer my diet on the correct path.

    3. I’m in to home made roasted cauliflower this days … pizza 🍕 thin base Roman pizza some times sourdough… and my favourite Lahmacun I know that’s your favourite too Doktor Ergin 😁 and the only curry thing I like is home made lentils Daal curry that my sister makes.
And I love gourmet burgers 🍔 I get a normal burger and no Fry’s instead a salad as my side dish

    4. Thank you for this video. Can you look into “sola sweet” bread and tell us is it bread you would say is a healthy alternative please? It says Keto and diabetic friendly but sometimes doctors notice things we don’t. I’ve been eating it almost religiously and it raises my sugars about up to 20 and it tastes like regular bread. I also tried the WASA bread too. It was so good with sun butter. Thank you for your recommendations

    5. Hi Doc
Age 60. Insulin resistant and on medication for blood pressure. Despite a year of intermittent fasting and LC diet with almost no bad carbs and only some bitter chocolate with high cocoa content and plus regular daily exercise not so successful to reverse insulin resistance and prediabetes. Any suggestions.

    6. I have a couple recommendations. When I get Asian food delivery, Thai, Chinese, etc, I order something that has rice or noodles that come separately, and then I rinse some konjac noodles or konjac rice to have instead with it when it comes. I do the same thing with Indian food. I also use konjac rice to make shrimp fried rice or rice pudding (with a sugar sub) at home. A lot of burger chains do low carb lettuce wrap burgers in a bowl these days. The hard part is not getting fries. Jimmy John's does the unwich lettuce wrap which is a great option.

    7. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your videos. I’m trying to get weight off but completely failing because I don’t know the proper things to eat. I’m pre-diabetic. Thank you so much! I’m going to go and watch a bunch more of your videos!!

    8. I always try to throw 1/2 of the hamburger bun away, I eat mustard not Mayo and fortunately I don’t like rice so I don’t eat it (or at most I might try a forkful)
