Lung Ultrasound: Nuts & Bolts & COVID-19

In this video, Rachel Liu, MD, FAIUM, FACEP, Department of Emergency Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine and Director of POCUS Education, explains how to perform a basic lung ultrasound, shows lung findings which may suggest infection (including COVID), and describes the role of lung ultrasound in clinical care for COVID patients.

  1. The radiology images will be much easier to see if the background is dark instead of white. Images near the end head blue background and we're easier to look at darker background is better. White background has a glare which makes it hard to see the dark ultrasound images.
