H Band 2.0 –
This P11 smart health band is in the same class as the i7E recently reviewed. Make sure you watch that one as well to get a broad understanding about new ways of monitoring hearth health. Much of this new technology is due to the expertly designed H Band (and H Band 2.0) app. One of the most amazing features of this band/app combination is special Lorenz Scatter Diagrams (scatter plots). In the background, starting at midnight, the P11 begins continuously assessing heart rate variability for placing little dots on an ever evolving scatter plot. It resets itself each night at midnight and does its testing throughout the night. A user doesn’t need to touch anything, just wear the band to bed. Later, when the data is synced with the app, the scatter plot is created. This happens night after night, and can be examined and studied in detail. It’s an extensive X-Y graph of HRV values plotted in a way that allows for irregularities to be instantly viewable.
